Extra door key pad system, what should I do with it?

I am thinking or using the keypad entry set up off my parts Mark for something, but don't know if it will work.
I'd like to use it for my house, just enter a code and the door unlocks, how cool would that be. I have also thought of using it on my one of my other non Mark cars.
Anyone know how difficult it would be to remove the whole system and if it would work in another vehicle or other area all together?

93-95 Keyless entry will work, just a matter of getting all the wires going in the right direction so to speak. 96 I don't know about. 97-98 won't b/c the ddm and scil combine that function.

Just as I was on my way down here to say the same.

If you have time on your hands and a little money to play with, be different, have the passenger door cut out and mount it. Whatever you do with it is going to be trouble unless you just sold it and made some money. That's what I'd do with it or keep it in a box for backup.

I'll probably just box it up and sit on it unti; I need it or can sell it, but its always fun to dream up some crazy way to use it.
Sounds like it will be way too hard to actually make it work.

I've seen a guy use one on a Ranger... it was super cool... I wish I could come up with something like that for mine... but thats wayyy too involved
