i have a leaking vacuum line on the pass side under the dash, behind the glove box. I can't find a vacuum diagram anywhere. I have the service manual on cd, but the only diagram i find there is for the fuel system. The vacuum connector has a white boot on it, but i see nothing that it plugs into. Anybody got an under dash diagram or idea?

i would assume its the white line that goes to the outside rec door, but i have checked and it seems that all of my ac/heater functions work. I assume this controls the recirculating function for the a/c. I have looked everywhere, but can't see where it might plug into. There is already a white vac line connected into a four way block that i think might be the one that diagram shows. I am wondering if it is a left over vac line for the engine when the lines were re-run for the s/c. It is still pulling vac loud enough to hear it though. I wonder if i should plug it or not?
 
The white line goes to the recirc door but it should only have vacuum with the EATC off or max ac. I doubt you would know if it's working or not by any other means.

If you can hear it or feel the vacuum leak - plug/cap it.

thanks for all the help driller. I will check the leak with something running and see what happens. Its weird cause i see absolutely no where it could go unless it's behind the blower motor somewhere. There is a four way connector that has a white vac line running to and from it that goes to the climate control. Which is why i was wondering if it was something else. I'll let you know after i start the car and play with it. This got back burnered when i found my s/c eating oil and the motor eating anti freeze.
 
i got the s/c used...from somebody who bought it used....you can guess the story. I'll be OK. It will still be cheaper than a new one after i have it rebuilt and it's a 2.2 instead of a 2.1. Just a lot of hassle and b.s. No one could have been able to tell that the internal seals were bad.
 
I can smell it, it was low. I can't find a leak.
