Dont laugh...

the man who bought my totalled 97 told me that he was going to use the engine and tranny to swap it into a Ford Aerostar......so I guess the thought isnt that crazy, my guess is that a lot of people are doing these crazy projects.

Would an aerostar be a more interesting choice due to rwd? And as far as the bubble taurus i hate the interiors on them that why i wouldnt really consider it but with a conti motor, may sway my outlook. but the line "And, in all honesty, I mostly discovered along the way that stuff just bolted up where I didn't expect it to (subframe, exhaust, trans linkage, other things)." make for deeper thought... early 90s would be more preferable but than again who knows. Im sure someones got a good opinion on a possible build as far as complications and slide by's.

And i would think a 281 probe would be evil as bigga turds as they are, it would be fuuun!

Ok, I love the Taurus idea but here's a good one... That one would be totally unexpeceted!

I always liked the Aerostars. My familyhad one when I was a kid and I thought it was so futuristic looking. I thought a 4V would be cool as hell in one but a 5.0 Stang engine is much easier.
