Found the front end noise and vibration problem. :(

pretty sure the washer in the pic still isnt the one, there should be a big one like what is on the rear

It is that big, just got pulled through. Thats why I believe the bushings were installed wrong. You should see what I just found in the rear. He didnt put the rear shock bushings on in the right oreder eaither.

then the bushing is way too soft if it swallowed the washer like that. as for overtightened....i havent seen it yet, ive hung on 3' breaker bars

the washer is bigger than the bushing how the hell did it go inside the buching!!

If the bushing was installed backwards with the narrow part towords the chasis and the rod pulled the washer through the larger opening is how I figure it happened.
Before I tightened them they looked identical to these:

Well I am not ordering the parts until tomorrow so they wont all get here until next week and I will be spending that week moving so its gonna have to stay the way it is for the next couple weeks. Hopefully it wont kill anything between now and then. Its the only car right now so it will prolly see 500 miles too. :(
I will be doing new front struts and strut rod bushings as well as new rear shocks and poly bushings then take it for an alignment. Should feel like a new car only with better handling and responsiveness. :D

I just noticed all that mess wow!! I would get a hold of Max unless Jamie has a pile of hardware laying around from previous partouts. I got some new washers from Max sometime ago and I am not sure if they are still available.
Max also had the cheapest price on the stock bushing when I last looked. But I will tell you I am a Moog fan for the higher durometer rubber they have (Blue) in the Problem Solver line. You need to be sure to trim the ferrels about 1/4" so that all seat right.

I just orederd the new struts and shocks. Since I need new poly bushings for the rear and I want the front suspension braces I will just order the strut rod bushings from the same place to save on shipping, SCP.

I really wanted the Moogs but everyone says they are junk for the strut rods so I will just get the stock ones.

Me three with the same issues for 3 months knock on wood,I'm just afraid if i start replacing the LCA's and the Strut Rod Bushings and who knows what else needs to be replaced.

JMark.... if your Mark has over 100k on it, just bite the bullet and do the whole job in one shot. In the long run it will be easier than replacing individual parts as they fail, as that way you're only taking everything apart once.

So what is the easiest way to get to the rear of the front strut rod bushings?
The front most ones are easy enough but since I have to slide the rod out of the mount to get the back part of the bushing out do I have to dissconect the LCA so it can swing back far enough or is there enough play where I can push it through after the strut rod nut is off?
