Besides the dealer unless it cheap other wise, where can I buy it. The previous owner took it off from one headlight and now I have HID on one side and regular halogen on the other.

Buy an el cheapo HID kit, make an adapter ring and sell your working bulb and have $0 into good working headlights that are cheap to replace in the future.....

yea, but id rather have the OEM then the cheap HID kit thats noticablly different and I hate that look, I like the OEM look

OEM bulbs have been obsolete for a few years now. Your only hope is to check ebay or craigs list for someone selling a known good one. Good luck.

while we are on lights topic, any easy way to get mt rear middle light to work or do I need to replace the whole thing?

how much for those balast in the rear light, no condensation? Also, back to those 4300K after bulbs, are these just bulbs which means NO balast needed? Where can i pick these up, autozone?

Search "4300k hid kit" on ebay. It will come with everything you need to do the swap, except from the adapter rings, which i believe someone on this site is making.

The glitch ballast for the rear neon is just the power source, not the complete assy, so the condensation inside yours would still be there unless you find a way to get it out.

So I do need a new balast or dont for the rear? Where is this balst located? next to the neon light?

The conversion kit I saw looked about 100 times better than the OLD OEM bulbs.

and if your DEAD SET on an OEM bulb be prepared to pay thru the NOSE for a 10 year old USED bulb that might fail tomorrow.

The kit Kustomizing Kid mentions is a great kit, looks great and you wind up with a readily available replacement rather than an obsolete bulb you cannot replace.

For the rear neon..

search the forum for "the glitch ballast".

Glitch is a guy in Texas that builds aftermarket replacements for the rear neon.
They cost 99ish dollars and are heads and shoulders better designed than the originals.

what kit do you have? im on ebay and i cant figure out to go with the more expeensive kit or the cheapest

Got mine here: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/HID-Direct__W0QQ_armrsZ1

You will have to ask if they come with an adapter ring or find out on here who is making them. I only paid $59.99 for my kit with free shipping. He still sells them for $59.99, just look to the left and in the search box, put Mark VIII and start scrolling down until you see $59.99 and that's it. I had mine in 2 days, maybe 3 at the most.

i have a gen 2 and my thing is that i dont want a plug and play i want to completely remove my old setup and install new one and NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT A HARD TO FIND BLUB

I dont have a kit in my car, I currently have 2 OEM bulbs and 2 spares.. so I haven't done a conversion on my car.

BUT.. I have seen both Krackers and KustomizingKids conversion and they are HEADS and shoulders better than the OEM bulbs.

I have contemplated selling two of my OEM bulbs to pay for the conversion.

Get the kit KK has, it totally replaces the existing "crap".

im trying to figue out if the guy kept the balast in there, where is the balast located and what does it exactly look like, i need some pics

Undo the rear trunklid carpet... unbolt the 12 or so bolts holding the tail light on and undo it... the ballast is on the backside of the tail light...

I bought a glitch balast but somehow it ended up in Texas with Tommy??

Also as far as headlights just make your own rings, Mafioso made sweet AL ones... but he evaporated...
