Bought one today from Lonnie, just curious about the gains and user programable things you can do with it if anybody has one.

BTW- I posted the same thing on the .org and it was deleted???

My first deleyed post in over 6 years of membership, I feel special.

If you had an SCT chip previously you are not gonna gain much if anything...

My SCT chip is 6+ years old, and I didnt notice much of anything from it over stock. I got it from Reinhardt in 2003, and since then have done exhaust, gears, and cobra intake. I would think the technology has improved over the years and have heard good things about Lonnies tunes. Like I said, I didnt notice anything from the chip, other than the raised speed limiter and the timing isnt retarded at shift point.

Maybe thats what it was, I did mention Lonnie. I just checked the rules and it said nothing about Lonnie or BOC. Oh well, F them

I didn't get anything, but I am not too worried, didn't like that lame place anyway. I just felt bad for the people there that didn't know that the best Mark 8 board is here!

Aw, now....

There's a ton of useful information at that site.

The guy owns it, and it's 'his' rules. Play nice, and it's all good.

Although I got deleted for linking Autopia, which is a site for detailers. No warning or anything, so I assume they just don't like outside commercial enterprises being linked to their site.

Which is fine, I guess. Odd, but fine.

Well it wasnt deleted, just moved.

So back on topic, anyone got the X3?

You do!

Run the car with the chip..
then remove the chip and flash it with the X-3.
Compare MPH then let US know the gains.
ET is meaningliess, MPH shows your HP gains.

most everyone here either has a chip or an xcal 2.

Many use lonnies tunes, but the answer you are seeking only you can provide as no two cars are the same...and Lonnie would probably be a better person to ask about "features" and tune specific stuff.

I've got the X3 with Reinhardt's tune and I definitely noticed more top end grunt. Also lurches forward harder at each shift point.

I haven't toyed around with the user programmable stuff yet.
