So finally last month I got the replacement grill and corner lights on the car. Just this afternoon I am leaving Friendly's with the g/f. I go to back out of the spot I'm in and I hear a loud sound. Apparently the car was lower when I pulled out than when I pulled in, because when I went out to check the bumper was ripped off on parking divider.... The replacement grill was ripped in half.

So here's a question. On the inside of the bumper on the sides, there's that bar with the stud's sticking out that go into the frame. It stayed on the frame instead of the bumper. How is it supposed to be held on? I'll try to post pics soon.

Each metal rail is held to the bumper by 2 plastic rivets - they are those weird things with like a 3 sided piece holding them in - kinda like the things that hold the license plate bracket. On yours, it's possible that the rivets ripped clean through the bumper holes.

Fantastic, I'll have to see how I can go about reattaching that.

Couple of pics: (first from on top, second from underneath) A lil' improvisation should get those things back together ok.
