I'm looking at replacing the rear bushings in my mark. Mainly the control arms subframe and the diff mounts.

Laurel Mountain Mustang has excellent prices on the kits, but will these bushings work?

1999 - 2004 Mustang Cobra IRS control arm bushing kit.
$57.50

1999 - 2004 Mustang Cobra IRS subframe bushing kit
$32.95

1999 - 2004 Mustang Cobra IRS front of differential bushing kit.
$24.95

1999 - 2004 Mustang Cobra rear of differential bushing.
$15.95

I will say the part numbers are different from the cobra and the mark...will they fit????

Max - That's what I'd love to know! If they do they're a good bargain.

I found the Poly spring isolators on there for over half off of SCP's price.

geno hasnt gotten around to taking it off. i tried to get them a couple months back and was told they were discontinued.

Since the diffs are essentially the same I would think the bushings would work no problem.

I'm curious about the control arm and subframe ones... those would make quite a difference on a 16 year old car!

this where i got my lower control bushings for the rear /www.vintageperformancemotorcars.com/

the only bushings that will fit are the front pinion support all others are differant

I'm confused. Is Geno phasing out the Mark VIII stuff? Why would he stop selling them? I've also noticed he has a few different things that has broken links so I'm assuming you can't buy those things either?

Sorry if I'm hijacking your thread, I'm just curious why aftermarket products are disappearing?

The Mark VIII market is very niche... He is only selling stuff he can make money on. Its tough times for all of us...

So I'm guessing I should just take my chances? Does anyone know of the IRS differences between the mark and mustang cobra?

order your bushings from super coupe performance to be safe. the alternative is to order the 99 cobra stuff and find out, and report to the rest of us. as a side note there is someone on lod selling delrin bushings for the control arms. pricey though. 600 per set but well worth it. ask driller who that is is. he is a member of lincolns of distinction and should be able to point you in the right direction if you decide to go that route. his user name is dlf and these bushings are hand made to put the price in perspective.

I'm thinking since the SCP ones are $165 and don't come with the carrier bushings I might just take my chances!

The Cobra IRS is completely different with the exception of the front differential mounts.
