3/8" chrome steel rodends, chrome threaded stock, nylock nuts and 2 3/8" bolts. the best part is that i can adjust the angle of the links when i lower the car to maintain the same angle between the frame and the bar.
 
real slick... it's hard to tell from the picture, did you use thrust rated Heim joints or the standard ball joint Heims

also I hope you used a quality threaded stock... I'm sure you did though

everything is hardened steel and yeah they are thrust rated rod ends
 
Find a good freeway ramp complex if and test and see how it feels going around a long sweeping cloverleaf and how quickly it settles coming out of it. Install the brace and try it again and note the difference in feel and speed. Just an idea if you can't dodge cones.

Talked to my Ford dealer, and the part will be in tomorrow, I'll get pics and let everyone know how it works out.
 
In regard to 'sway' bars, is someone in position to be able to measure the existing ones? By that, I mean to not only the bar diameter but lengths of such things as side-to-side, the lever arms on the ends and the angles the end arms make with the center portion. Also differences between the front and back. The info will make it possible for me to make alternate suggestions.

what info are you looking for? My car is in pieces in the garage I can take some measurements
 
this sounds very interesting mainly because my car was in a previous collision and it doenst feel as solids a friends 01 , 150 bucks sound like a nice investment.

TireRack will do just about anything for publicity, so I bet it will be open on the Power Tour. It may be possible to get a bunch of people together for a meet there and we could all give it a turn. I might give them a call just to see what it would take.
 
well the dumb ass at my ford dealer even though i sent him the diagram with the par i need sent me the wrong part, he sent the front cross brace. the rear one which is $409 at cost! will be here next week.
 
anyone running an eibach pro kit? lemmie know wacha think about the handling.
 
Love my Eibachs. I still kept the great ride and improved the handling alot, made it feel real tight. And I love the way she sits with the raked front.
