Mass Sucks!!!

I went to get my Inspection sticker today put the mark back on the road.. they Failed me for my 35% Tint,, My Exhaust, Something is Wrong with the E-brake now, and the Emissions... but then you got the Honda's that drive around with no Mufflers and No Stickers and don't get pulled over but if i go out there with a red R they will get me lol.. Oh well but that's why MASS SUCKS!!! Some of you are lucky and dont have to get Inspection Stickers...'
 
That sux! :mad: I used to hate just going for emmisions testing. Failing you for your tint?!? The police must be a real pain out there.:(
 
I had to strip my tint off the front windows! It was 5%. What is the limit here? I thought it was 33%. Of course you also have to calculate the tint of the window itself. The place I used to go to would calculate the math and give me what was darkest.
I was really concerned about Mass with my exhaust but it passed.
 
no inspection in CA............. :D

no smog in my county............ :cool:

living in the middle of nowhere.............. kinda :(

but i dont have to deal with all that stuff :p
 
after living in mass for 27 years and actually doing inspection stickers myself at my old job the best part of now living in florida is i can do whatever i want to a car lol no inspections of any kind. enjoy mass!!!!!

Yea Mass sucks a big one when it comes to just about everything! 35% is the LEGAL limit, there shouldnt be a problem there... Why did they fail you for your exhaust? The Ebrake is vacuum released when you put the car in gear right? A guy failed me for that one time, not knowing it was vacuum released on my Mark 7... As far as passing emissions, run some denatured alcohol in the gas tank and get the car warmed up nice and it should pass no problem.
 
In RI we have about the same thing. I dread it when it comes time to inspect one of the cars. I have found though it depends on who you go to sometimes. Some are more thorough than others when it comes to inspections.
 
I'll have to have inspection here when I get plates.

One good thing though: cars previous to 96 don't need emissions! yay for OBD 1 (in this case)
 
I think the legal limit for tint in mass is 35% and i put 35% over whatever factory tint there is so its prob off by 3 or 4% and they could not let that slide the basT#$@s.. and as of Oct 08 no aftermarket exhaust systems allowed on any cars they must be crazy if they think im goin to take my $1000 Exhaust off , ebrake and missions is no big deal i can take care of that stuff but sometimes they just are a pain in the A$$

Can that really fly? I remember reading a SEMA newsletter about that stuff and it was squashed.

That would KILL the exhaust aftermarket. Maybe put shops out of business?
 
I got mine inspected in January with the LMS exhaust. Passed just fine. I can get you in touch with a place in Milford, i've never gone there but you just tell him you take the car to shows and he hooks you up. I almost went there but the tint was too dark and I got pulled over 3 times so I just stripped it off and went to a place near work. I just have to make a call to remember the name of the place. Memory is soooo bad. Too much brain cell damage.
 
I should of just installed Electronic Cutouts connected to the LMS Exhaust so i can turn it on and off when i want, now that would be Sweet

Yeah I dont know who is Responseable for that but it sucks.. how the hell can Loud Motorcycles like Harleys and Street bikes have there like that and not my exhaust that is not that loud.. sucks ya know

why would you want to move there? are you a professional car thief or drug lord lol thats all miami dade is full of. havent you ever watched cops, every episode filmed in florida on that show was miami dade.
 
And they have gators wondering the streets! (saw it on animal cops - Lol)
 
Do like i do and keep out of state plates.
I got a Kentucky tag, Michigan License, Maryland Insurance, and Tenn adress, cops hate pulling me over.

There is absolutely NO way they can even pretend to enforce that! I'd tell them they need to pay for the exhaust work, and I'd enform those green $hitheads that they are polluting the environment by trying to replace a brand new exhaust system of which there is nothing wrong with! Those green $%^&ing hippie a$$holes are the biggest $%^&ing hypocrites ive ever SEEN!!! :Bang :bash: :bow:
 
Thats BS! There's so many ricer's/cars/trucks with Mass plates running around here with tinted windows darker than 35%...!?! That guy at the station must have had a hair across his a s s when you came in.
