What does a Transgo kit come with?

Ok, I did the j-mod but it never mentioned modifying the valve body, just the separator plate. Was there something I was suppose to do to the valve body?

If your going with a kit, go Baumann.
I'm running a Baumann kit in mine and love it so far, nice clean shifts. I've used these kits in a handful of Ford aods and 4r70ws and they make a pretty complete kit...

No... it's all about modifying the separator plate that allows the fluid to move more freely....

+1, mine snaps my neck every time, plus they have the best and easiest directions for a do it yourselfer.

And to answer your question=you get problems! I have one on my shelf that I was going to use now I just rob it of parts.

When I got my Valve Body for my Crown Vic it was because I was afraid of taking the VB apart and screwing something up so I just bought a predone one....

I've got a Baumann kit in my 98. So does Geno. I bought mine because of his description of it. It seems to be very progressive. I've got it set on level 5. At light throttle, it's just firm, but the more foot you put into it, the harder it shifts. I love it. It's exactly what I wanted.

My shifts do the same thing.... I have it altered through the shift pressure tables in my tune.... you can change the pressure on a RPM/TP chart.
