I almost forget this thing was an option on the Mark. Anyway, mine has it.
I moved to a new place and the garage door is ANCIENT. The remote did not work and when I grabbed another remote and matched the switches, no go. I bet it would not have been programable to the Mark anyway.
So I go to Menards and pick up a Chamberlain wireless conversion kit. Basically it plugs into an outlet and then taps the wired button.
The kit works fine. But I programed the Mark. I did as the instructions say and the light stays solid indicating programming, but it does not work.
So then I used the kits "smart program" feature. You press a button on the receiver and then you press and hold a button on ANY remote until a light stops flashing. Well again it says it programs BUT in this instance the garage will open/close once. But thats it. Further pressing of the button yields no results.
At least I have a remote now, but would love to just use the Mark's remote. Anyone have any experience with this? I think the issue may be the rotating security code system used. But finding anything "basic" seems impossible.
