Battery Vent??

It just comes off the battery and lays next to it. There is a sort of plug like thing on the end of it... Almost like a grommet to seal a bigger hole.
Maybe it just fell out of the hole. My 02 had a hole in the bottom of the trunk, not one going out towards the bumper so that is what threw me off. There was nowhere for the tube to go on my newer one.

We just had another double cold front. Near record lows 45 this morning. You have got to realize that when it is 45 down here people don't even go to work. Some wont even go outside, and many dont have heat in their house! With the new battery though the LS jumped to life this morning despite the frosty air! No problems with "check charging system".
 
-3 here last night. Not a big deal. There was a band of snow that came through and dumped 2 feet in a small section of northern IN. Thank God it went south of us.

I know it is no where near as bad here as it is up in northern MN. Bottom line, I don't want to hear anyone complain about 45 degrees.
 
Yeah, it's been chilly up here lately. But we're supposed to hit 30 today! Yesterday it was -11 when I was on my way into work, so today is going to be a treat.

Wasn't it South Bend that got all that snow? By the time it got to me in the northeast part of the state it dumped a whopping 1.5 inches:cool:

No, it was Valparaiso that really got it. My office is in South Bend and we didn't get much.
 
Oh just glad it wasn't here. The street dept likes to plow my driveway in here.
 
-28F driving to the ski lodge last week. Car sat for the weekend and started fine on a warm -11F Sunday morning. Someday the OEM battery will die.
