The LS left my garage last week and I miss it and mostly this forum. The Mazda forums are a bunch of people bickering at each other.

Well here is the LS replacement. A 2007 MazdaSpeed6 Grand Touring w/ 16K miles. Couldnt pass it up, got it for below wholesale KBB value with a 6yr/100K warranty.

Specs:
325 AWHP
COBB Stage 2 tuned
CP-E Downpipe
Test-Pipe
Cat-back
CP-E CAI
ATP Turbo Inlet
Xenon HeadLights
6 Speed
Titanium Gray with Black Leather
Bose system

Its a whole different direction than the LS, so its not a comparison. The LS was luxury and this thing just flat out performs.

I will be going to the next level and swapping the stock turbo, putting in a front mount intercooler to replace the top mount intercooler and add more boost. Should be around 375 reliable AWHP when finished.

I wanted a STI or EVO, but sacrificed some speed for the luxury of this cars interior and driving my 2 kids around :)

Very nice, dude! Who'da thunk that a car that looks like that has some serious balls?! Good luck with it!

Do 20" Jaguar wheels fit on there? :D

Hehe, Actually there are some nice Speed6's with 20's. These have a common 5x114 pattern. TireRack alone has 58 sets of wheels alone for this car. Im not doing wheels on this car for a LONG time, just coil over suspension.

This car is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Just the way I like them :D

I bet you have quite a few coil over sets to choose from too huh? Just springs or a fully adjustable kit?

Good luck man. I like the first body style more than the new ones but the new ones definitely have way more power thats for damn sure.

Post pics when you get the coilovers.

OOOh look at me my car doesn't depreciate at a ridiculous rate.

J/K, nice car. Needs some new wheels. Stay around for a while!

A fully adjustable kit from H&R runs $1200 for this car. There are quite a few to choose from for this car.

Now that gas is $2.50 around here, it was a perfect time to jump off a V8. No one will take a V8 on a trade up here unless they get it close to free.

Ill be around here from time to time.

A Mazda? You ditched the Lincoln for a Mazda? Ok, technically they're made by the same company but, DAYUMMN! You think you miss the LS now? Wait 'til the paint starts rubbing off the arm rest handles, and the leather on the seats starts fading. Whatever floats your boat I guess. :p
On the brighter side, you do have more performance options, if that's what you care about. Have fun with it. But don't say I didn't warn you.

you know you don't have to leave because you own a mazda... i would love to see what you do to that thing...it is still fomoco!

Hey Ray, Nice ride, you did good on the choice. I really like AWD. The wife's Mountaineer is AWD and in the rain and the snow (Big Bear, CA), I love it.

I know guys, it is a Mazda, but it doesnt say much for the LS when it was only worth $9000 and this Mazdas wholesale is $20,130 and its retail is $25K.

My requirements were 4/5cyl Turbo, 4-door, AWD, leather. Not much out there for that. I drove a S60R but the dealer wouldnt budge on price and it was the only one for sale within 50 miles of me with lower miles.

As far as panels and leather fading, I highly doubt it with this particular car, this is Mazdas high end 6, not a base model Mazda. The leather is the nice M3 style leather that is really thick which doesnt crack. My LS leather was all cracked when it was sold. The LS was falling apart more than this car by the time it had 18K miles.

Like I said, two different cars, two different classes. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Im sippin little fuel in traffic and blowing away Mustangs with a turbo when needed.

And if all I have to worry about is fading leather, its much better than what all you guys are complaining about in here http://www.lincolnvscadillac.com/showthread.php?t=47587 :p 6yr 100K warranty on the Mazda baby.

One thing for sure is it doesn't look like the cookie cutter styles all the other Manf are putting out. It's different and fresh looking. I've always liked what Mazda has done in style, since the RX's and Courier pickups came into being.

First, NICE CAR!!!

As you know, I have chosen the 'keep it forever' approach. That means that by always upgrading, I will have an ever-better-performing ride.

The 4 wheel sure is nice though!

Has it been professionally tuned because there is no way your running 325 whp on Cobb's stage 2 baseline map.

What kind of turbo comes in that and what kind are you planning on going to? Also, where does the top mount get its air fed in from? Sorry for the q's I just don't know about Mazdas at all.

Not sure if there is a cat in the up pipe on those cars but if there is, get rid of it. Stupidest manufacturing flaw I've ever seen built into a car. Get some EDFC coilovers too, control the dampening from inside the car. Your going to lose some serious "luxury feel" though but whatever.

Nice car man. Upgrade in my book.

Thanks, yes the car is tuned and running higher boost than the baseline Stage 2 base maps.

It has a K04 turbo stock, Ill be going to a GT3071R turbo next. The TMIC gets its air through ducting that gets air from the front of the car, that is why Im getting a FMIC along with a larger turbo next.

This car has a downpipe with both cats removed as well.
