new here. just wondering if anyone knows of a good place to look for wheels. im having trouble finding decent ones.

Purchased my rims from tirerack.com. Also bought some other items, always with excellent service and results. Gary in Elmira, NY.

your searches will result in limted styles because of our bolt pattern, only the mark VIII, t-bird and cougar use this metric pattern, you can swap the hubs on your mark VIII for mustang cobra 5 lug hubs and open a whole new book for wheels to choose from!

yeah, but that gives you ugly f'g offset. Like you put the mark on a truck frame or some crap.

Look for brad, goes by name of 'baggedtaco' here on the board. Prices and quality and service cannot be beat. He casts many wheels specifically for our cars, so they fit right, and look great. Very cost effective.

I think stang 05-08 stang wheels back spacing should be good for our cars but I really dont know since no one has tried it.

I got some 17" Bullit style rims off EBAY for a bit over $500.

They looked real nice but are a bit to wide for the front. Believe it or not I don't have any decent pix of em on my car right now to show how they look :(

I saw em on the video of your shot strut rod bushings, look good for 500.

Huh?

I've run mustang hubs on Mark VIII's and the wheels didn't stick out. It's all about finding the proper backspacing.

Have you? Were they 16's? Because all the mustang wheels have the wrong offset for the VIII, leaving nilch for options.

for the sake of one less thread would a set of 4, 18" cobra r's w/ moderately worn 245/40/18 Bridgestone Potenza tires be a good deal for a mark, or would i need the cobra hubs?

He is running 18's Black with chromelip, (can't remember the model tho.)

My Buddy jeb is running 18" 03 cobra wheels on his 97 LSC, and looks awesome.

All a matter of preference.
