anything "less" than 410's is a waste of time.
I think not I love my 3.55s and now I just need more power

great 18th post!...
I mean.. hell.. your from waco.. home of NTAC.. you'd think you were well versed at dealing with smartasses.
Back to the original question. Do the maintanence items first, fluid fushes, spark plugs, wires, etc. Next comes the Jmod, air silencer removal, you already have the exhaust, so your good there. 3:73's or 4:10's seem to be the most popular gear options for our cars, along with track lock. The gears really wake the car up. Do some reading on Tuners from various venders such as SCT, which is what I went with, and couldnt be happier.
That should keep you busy for a while.
great, i get called helpless from a complete stranger and i get the -1.... not saying hes a bad person, just that if anybody doesnt have something helpful to add to a post why chime in with comments like that ?
actually i live in waco GA.

Lemme see here...
A guy with the username XLRVIII that actually HAS 373's says they are a waste of time....and effort. and that 410's or 430's are the way to go..
Then a guy with the username slowmkviii says "355's" are better...
...nuff said.
HAHA
How fast has your slow mark gone in the 1/4 slowkmviii?
LoL Tommy,
Not everyone has a strip close.
No one has made more dragstrip passes in a mark then you....no wonder you want 430s
This argument is old and beat into the ground.
Anyone who wants a gear change can do a simple search and read for HOURS then they can decide what is right for them.
Well the The Super Mark has 355's in it..
I have not run my car with the gears and I do a lot of freeway driving The
3.55s just make the car feel better and I get better gas mileage when around
town. I have also driven a t-bird w/3.27s with no O/D it bugs me to many rpm
for me. I did want 3.73s but the diff came with the 3.55s and didn't have the
money to invest in new gears.
Also is the 3 tenths or so from 4.10s worth the loss of 10mpg or so on the
freeway
{not to be confused with bending over forwards)
you went from 327's to 355's?And this of course is all IMO you know the thing people are allowed to have
you went from 327's to 355's?
that has got to be the most worthless gear swap I ever heard of.
I thought you'd at least want from 307's to 355's.
and like I said, so long as someone doesn't come along and take your advice and think they are going to get ANY measurable performance increase..
you would probably make "more of a gear change" going from 225-60-16's to 245-50-16's than you did with your 327 to 355 swap.
And for trading you gears you can trade with Markviiiedrea he no longer wants his 4.10s
He cant trade I have them
To each there own just read and be informed and then you can decide.
slowmkviii you did what you wanted to someone else will decide something different.
Just know what you want to do with the car then the choice then is EASY.
