wow thats mature.
every thing looks good in pictures
the point is I dont critisise what you do for a living so dont be a jack ass about what I do.
if you dont like that then you can :q:q:q:q off
dude, don't respond to my :q:q:q:q anymore. You're a hypocrit about maturity, and just because you do body work for a living doesn't mean you know more than someone who doesn't. I have a whole CROWD of people in the custom paint industry, who I've been around ALOT, and gave me PLENTY of tips prior, and you're not going to educate me about anything they haven't already. I'm not some schmoe who bought a 2 gallon air compressor and a sears paint gun to paint a car in my hay barn and decided painting is just like eating cake. Painting is easy, as I said initially, before your remark about me, of which obviously proved you didn't even read what I said. So scroll back and re-read the part where I said it's all in the prep work, (block sanding etc) and that the painting is easy, especially on a 13 year old car where the guy just wants nice paint and doesn't want to pay maako or what ever the f the place is that sells hundred dollar paint jobs. I'm trying to give the guy confidence, so he'll save some cash and be prideful of his work, and you're acting like it's rocket science and you're issac f'g newton.
I wouldnt' get so pissy if everytime I said something bluntly, someone -else- didn't feel compelled to rip on my crap just because they didn't get laid last night.
Another tip to anyone painting their own hood, don't go through the factory gel coat when you're sanding. It'll blister and you'll have to have it re-dipped at a place that does boat repair, because the glue ford used on these hoods is serious stuff that wasn't set outside, and u-pole etc does NOT hold the gasses off. It will for a few months, but not forever. Trust me.
