I betcha the car dealership doesnt even know.

Found in Houston TX Craigslist.

They should paint the hood chrome in the front to match the rear, that would look 100% better IMO.....or chrome the rear.

yeah lol, a really good example of a car that was smashed in the front and pieced together half ass!

hmm i like it, always wanted to do that. I wouldnt ditch the 98 hids for those terrible lights tho.

I saw a combo on I-75 southbound the other day. Gen1 front Gen2 rear, black with blue flames painted behind the front wheel well (looked decent actually). I could have sworn I saw a picture of it here somewhere.

you did, a long time ago i think well over a year ago, it was a gen 2 black lsc that was crashed and he put a gen 1 nose on it then painted blue flames, i remember seeing pics of it.

I would put money on it that the car had been in a front end collision. The hids were probably the reason why they did the gen1 front... I would do the same thing if I was a dealer.

i doubt it was the hid's that made them do the gen 1 nose, a gen 2 hood alone unpainted from ford is over 2 grand, a header panel is just under 400, do i need to write anymore prices lol, a whole gen 1 running and driving is 500 bucks, you do the math. thats why they did it, spend as little as possible to fix the car.

Add it all up... Hids are also very expensive....

my point was even without the hid's, just forget about them, the 2nd gen nose costs 3 times what a 1st gen nose would, so if you know you are going to fix a car just to unload it, you spend as little as possible, hence bolting on a gen 1 nose, cheap, easy, fast repair, add some fresh paint, hope some sucker buys the mongaloid car from you!!

I'm loving the chrome trim on the front bumper, but the car is an LSC... surprised they didn't just paint the chrome to match the rest of the car.
