I was at a car show last weekend and put the Blue Flame on the dyno to see what it would do. I'll have to scan the chart but here's a video clip:

Disclaimer: This is not a dynojet.

I had 2 pulls, the second put down 259.5 RWHP, but the converter unlocked when I went WOT and then locked back in.
 
Did I see smoke coming out from under the car? Maybe its normal IDK

you should have done one with cut outs open and closed to see hp differences :)

Yeah, it's normal. I suspect the old girl has some blowby. ;)

Been there, done that. It's tough to get 2 identical pulls without being able to hold the tranny in 3rd with the converter locked.
 
id be scared to run it so hard at such a angle, all the oil at the front of the pan not at the back where it should be
 
wow... that sounds good. what kind of torque? and what rpm's was your hp and torque? what do you redline at?
 
Well considering the low oil sensor is towards the rear of the pan and the low oil level warning never came on - I ain't skeered! :D

Again, I'd have to scan the graph but the rpm numbers were skewed low since his pickup wouldn't read good through the extra covering on the LiveWires spark plug wires. Redline by the tach was around 6500 rpms.

I wouldn't necessarily take these numbers to the bank, but it was representative none the less. Other cars on the dyno that day seemed to put down reasonable HP for their setup.
 
how much do the exhaust cutouts help? ive considered putting some in mine for when im at the track but ive heard mixed things about back pressure
 
Testing at the track yields a consistantly better ET by at least a tenth with the cutouts open.
 
are your cutouts power ones if so have you ever tryed to open the 60 ft or so down the track

Yes they are electric. I also have a cool controller which has an external ground trigger wire. I plan to eventually wire up a timer switch to a WOT switch. Then all I need to do at the track is just mat it off the line and everything else will be automatic. I can adjust the timer to delay the opening for best results. In theory that should yield better short times and still give better top end HP, but without actually being able to trigger the cutouts at precisely the same time it is impossible to test the theory at the track.
 
Nice numbers
I get a kick watching the ten spokes spin one way then the other way then be still then spin fast.
