I'm going to take the door back apart and re-position the glass. I can see where the tint is now showing which to me means it's slid too far back or something. Other then that, are there any other adjustments I should check?

There's not a sensor on the motor that tells it when it's up or anything is there? Was going to do it myself but she wanted to do it for me for christmas.

You need to recalibrate it. I'm pretty sure it's something like roll it all the way down then press and hold the up button until it's closed for a few seconds. Someone might be able to clarify more.

Stugots got it.....needs recalibrated but I don't know how to do it. It's on here somewhere tho.

roll the window down by holding the button and keep the button held for a few seconds after it gets all the way down, then roll the window up by holding the button then keep the button held down for a few seconds after the window is all the way rolled up.

also (at least with 2nd gen) the motor does have an internal sensor so it stops when it thinks the window is all the way up or down.you have to make sure that window is in the right position when attaching the motor to the regulator. when i did mine it would not roll up all the way, so i took it the motor off, then with the harness plugged in, i rolled up the window all the way, then made sure that the window was up all the way when mounting the motor to the regulator.

Yeah. I was afraid it was something like that. Ohh well, gives me something to do on christmas eve I guess.

My window does roll all the way down and up, but the up position and down position seems like it's of 1/2" or so. For instance, when I roll the window all the way down the tip of the glass still sticks up about 1/4". On the drivers side the glass is below the trim. Think that could easily be attributed to window placement in the regulator and the calibration that needs to be done? Tyring toi avoid popping the glass about and resetting the motor if I can help it.

That's tolerance to where the glass is attached to the regulator and to where the regulator is bolted to the door. AFAIK, reindexing the motor won't change this at all. Loosen all bolts and push the glass down. Re-tighten the bolts with the glass held down.

That's what I wanted to hear. :)
