Saw Fonzie's video on the true metallic dip used to refinish wheels to a stock oem look. I ordered a can of aluminium and the glossifier to experiment. This is my first time dipping a wheel so this was just a learning experience for me. Two of my wheels are in bad shape, the PO probably scrapped a curb really bad.
Anyway, used the dipping spray to clean the wheel. Used paper towel instead of painters tape because I accidently bought blue duct tape at the store:Bang
Here's the finished product. Just a little bit too dark. Being my first time the results were better than expected, but I need to practice the glossifier. Didn't have the sheen that was in Fonzie's video. Also I accidently bridged a gap between the center cap and wheels, something I have to be careful with next time. But seriously this job is very easy. I wasn't happy with the color, but the results were great. I'm giving anthracite a try now.
