Anyone ever had the fog lights stay on regardless?

Last night I parked and noticed that the fog lights were still on. Car was turned off, key was in my hand, and headlight switch was even in the off position. They stayed on for about 30 minutes then eventually went off.

Anyone else ever had this happen? I'll see if it does it again tonight.

Stock fog lights?
Short to ground on the "negative" wire, or defective FEM.

Were the parking lights on also?

Check the relay. I had that happen to mine and turned out to be the relay.

Yeah, forgot that the fogs had an external relay. It's number 7 under the hood fuse box.

Nope, it was only the fogs. I started the car, turned it back off. Flipped the headlight switch all around, turned fogs on/off, turned off the auto-light timer. I was literally standing outside the car with the keys in my hand and all doors closed and the fogs were on. Everything else was dark.

I'll check the relay later. It sounds easy and cheap to replace compared to a random short somewhere or a bad FEM. If it happens again I'll pull the relay and see if I hear the relay click or not. If it doesn't click then it's a bad relay. And yeah it's the stock fogs. I almost never use the fogs. The most I use them for is to flash a car that it's ok to turn. I hate using the high beams cause they blind people.
