Painting license plate surround,Thanks but No thanks Guys

Agreed. For sure paint that chrome plate surround. Possibly even tint those tails. Then it should look awesome.

Color match the surround I think it would look better. Just my $0.02. Some really rare Lse tail lights would set it off.

Hey, Marine..... PAINT THAT SURROUND!!!!!! Looks
good!
:W

You guys had me thinking all day about painting the surround, however I came to the conclusion that I'm not because my car has too much other chrome. As you can tell by the pic below, I may tint the tail lights this weekend depending on the weather.:L:headbang:

Out of all the chrome the part that bothers me most is the pillars. It's your car just giving my 2 cents. Hate the chrome pillars lol.

you know the stock lincoln centers fit them right?

Yeah, but i only have 1 good center cap the others are missing. I looked up the price for them a while back and i think they were 20ish a piece. The sentas came with a black cap so i can just put the dome sticker over them.

What size are they? 60mm? do you know if they would fit senta center caps? My rims are in storage so i don't have them readily available to go measure, Thanks.

these are custom 59.5mm, 60 would have been just too tight at the inside ring that comes with these Jag replicas (USArim) whatever they are.

almost may! still 39F / rainy / cloudy

trust me its worth the wait, feels amazing finally being able to roll down the windows and open that sunroof

What's up with the vents and 'Lincoln' letter on one side and not the other?

while I was washing the car the letters and vents started coming off unexpectedly but I was planning to debage the car completely anyway so it worked in my favor. Haven't gotten around to doing the rest yet, I've contracted a serious case of laziness lately

I think the car looks pretty good the way it is, the chrome and black play off beautifully without too much chrome distracting you

I am jealous of all these pictures of cars in no-snow places. My LS turned into a snowplow again lastnight.

Need help... figure I may post here...

What color should I paint my calipers???

My LS is brown mettalic, code T7.

Can't decide what would look best? ?

Something subtle like lime green or neon yellow should suffice.

Seriously though, I'd leave them the way they are or just black. IMO it's hard to put something with brown with something as small as calipers. If it were a whole scheme you were looking for, the brown could be a base for some way shape or form of camo.

I think it(wing west) disagrees with the rest of the car. IMO leave the wheels, color match everything. Or leave it as it is, delete wing west. just my $0.02 that equals four now.

Go with bright green! Lol, just kidding

Id do black or the color of the car

First picture submit. Wash, clay barred, waxed. Hopefully more to come through the summer.

And a video for good measure:
Lincoln LS w/ Jaguar Big Brakes - YouTube

P.S. It was already pretty obvious, but I confirmed that stock 17s will not clear the calipers.

Apologies for not putting more, just had to go run. Here are a few more, I'll do more when I get some actual work done. I'm looking to clean up the head and fog lamps mainly, but here's what I have. Few dents and dings but surprisingly not to noticeable by pictures.

Thanks MLara.
