Official LS Picture Thread

Regardless, my main reason to be on this form is to seak advice as well as give to the best of my knowledge when it comes to issues with the ls. Figured id post a few pics of the ride. my greatest apologies it doesnt meet ''lvc'' standards if you will. Im happy with my vehicle and it is cared for very much, cleaned above average and garage kept. It does not get beat on nor does it compare to any rice burner or puddle jumper... As stated previously its my car, stickers dont make it rice. They arent tacked apon every panel there are no slap on vents or hood scoops. Its lowered on eibachs. Exhaust professionally done and sterio professionally installed. Far from rice...weather its advice, critisim, or car bashing, at the end of the day its my car... And im happy with it.

You are 100% right, your ride, your rules ... and expect a good laugh once and awhile when others don't agree or find it simply ... too comical.




PS: what is the point of the washers under the hood hinges ?
Explain the benefits to me please ? does it remove underhood heat for added
performance or mpg or are you just looking to get your coils soaking wet on purpose ?

its really funny because i can guarentee if we were in person u would reconsider those wise words.

He has done more custom things to his LS than I have. More power to him I suppose.

With that being said. Old wax removal, clay bar kit, polishing compound, and some Collinite 845 which was a suggestion taken from the great gentlemen of LVC leads too greatness. No more scratches or swirl marks, now just gotta maintain.

- Gunmetal/ Dark Silver powdercoated Barcelonas
- Gold (Brembo) powdercoated calipers, likely keeping the "R" plates as is.
- R1 concepts slotted and or cross drilled rotors
- Stoptech SS lines
- Likely doing fronts only first, rears much later on.
- ETA: Unknown :(

* Now I know why big brakes are called "BIG BRAKES" holy crap these things are massive compared to stock LS calipers...so sexy!
 
Bout time you painted them Barcelonas gunmetal. And I agree with your gunmetal/dark silver statement. Don't make em too dark.
 
Don't have the money, also I am on stock wheels but I've got a silver metalizer plastidip kit just sitting in the online cart. Imo seems to be the only color that wouldn't clash with my cashmere LS. So I'll be very interested to see yours.

Also, brakes are positively upcoming for me. The stock LS brakes are an utter disappointment. So let me know how that goes when your done. My only concern is that I will also eventually get nicer, bigger wheels but I want my 17's for winter and I need brakes that will still fit in those.
 
Just installed a 3pc wing don't know how i feel about it yet...

:confused: What do you guys think? Also I found an almost complete black 2nd generation ls to be parted out pm me with any parts request. I may be going down this weekend to get some parts.

Color match the surround I think it would look better. Just my $0.02. Some really rare Lse tail lights would set it off.
 
Agreed. For sure paint that chrome plate surround. Possibly even tint those tails. Then it should look awesome.

too distracted by the tires, which reminds me, I have some 17" I have to clean up and post on Kijiji.

Plus that deluxe three tier stereo stand, it's got to go as well.
oh ... and those two Cobra 40 channel CB's ... those gotta go up on Kijiji as well.
