Not exacty LS related. I do send all my time in the LS section. So I am sharing the news with you guys.

I won "Short-Haul Driver of the Year" with the company I contract for. The company just honored me for 20 years with the company. Then 3 days later, I won the award.

My bonus will cover the family vacation to Disney World this year.:) Wife and I are VERY happy with that out of the way.

Nice! It is always great to feel apreciated by your employer.

Disney World? Sounds like fun, I am trying to get there this year as well though it is much closer for me.

Congrats!!! You coming to cali? Let me know i live 15 min away, we will meet up.

love Disney I drive down from phili atleast every 2 years. congrats and while you there you need to go to universal studios.

Many congrats John, I know how I felt when I got mine in 2011. Bonus payments are always appreciated. Award statues are cool to.

Thank you guys.:) I have already seen some perks of the title. I am getting first dibs on the "better" accounts. Cooperate office is calling me direct. As oppose to e-mails and ops messages.

My GM/regional VP challenge me to repeat. Probably will not get any of my award stuff till June. Safety is a bit slow putting that stuff together for us.

Any luck for you? Or still looking?

Took a labour dispute settlement out of court from them. 3 months salary.
Traffic citation still pending. most likely will be a "Hauling a defective trailer" charge.

Going through some medical issues right now, have only been doing some local contract hauling.
All my paperwork is up to par again for my FAST card, got two guys told me to come see them when ready to run US again.

got one little checkup procedure to go through mid May then I want to get back on the road full time again. wife is driving me nuts!

My company is already priming to be SLAMMED with work this summer. Shipments registering for the 1st of May through September already. We don't do Canada shipments any more. But we could always use agood driver.

I tell ya though, that slinging of furniture for 3 summers took a beating on my right shoulder.
Enough of that, just going to settle in doing terminal to terminal, pin to pin work.

Not sure how I would end up working for a US company like yours while a resident of Canada. If that's even allowed.

----EDIT:

Still remember that NHL hockey player we were moving back to his home town,
came across several of your boxes as he had been in the US and played there for a few teams.

Well Deserved. My wife and I just got our bonuses and raises, not employee of the year though!!! thats great to hear my friend... Tell them you want more KC runs!!
