So, I have now gone through my 3rd center vent with message controls because of the cheap plastic that is used to keep the controls screwed into the assmebly. All three have had the controls pop out, breaking the holes where the screw goes. I just bought my most recent one from a junk yard, what looked to be in great condition, and it broke with 2 weeks of having it
. I have used regular superglue, to no avail, which I guess is to be expected since it probably doesn't have good tensile strength. What have others done fix this without buying another one, which will just fail? Would something like a plastic epoxy from loctite work: like this?.
