Really?

You can get $500 for the motor alone, so the package deal isn't TOO far off. He's given himself wiggle room for the low baller. Sounds like just a misinformed individual on the specs of what exactly the motor is

And WTF is that random wiring draped over the alternator and driver's side valve cover:confused: Looks like chit if u ask me  If he puts a decimal point in the price I'd consider. LOL

You will if the person buying an engine wants their car to run again. I can get $250 for one with blown head gaskets lol... you northern people and your snow aren't making me want to head that way again any time soon :)

It won't fit as-is but I have thought about modifying one for the Mark. It could possibly reduce some flexiness when combined with other chassis braces. It sure works on the Mustang Cobra. The Fox (yeah, I know it's an SN95, but that's just a "slightly" modified Fox:D) chassis is so flexible it's almost laughable. If our Cobra didn't have that strut tower brace and the X-brace under the K-member, the cowl shake alone would probably shatter the windshield the first pothole it hits.

No a mustang is actually wider to the towers, and no strut tower braces don't make a huge difference on these cars.

True. And that's because the MN12 platform was originally designed to accept the 3.8L V-6. When that chassis was designed, Ford had no intention of putting a V-8 in it. Especially not one as wide as the DOHC 4.6L. Back in the 1980's, Ford (and pretty much everyone else) thought the V-8 was dead. Good thing they were wrong:D
