How much will this 98 LSC go for?

I'm guessing $3800 to $4200 tops. I have always liked that color and as for the mileage, it's low but still has a salvaged title. It needs another pass fender or that one needs repaired. The drivers fender needs to be fixed. Has rear window ripple which means it has been outdoors a lot and most likely not garage kept by that "one owner". Neon trim has a ding. Rear bumper cover needs some paint attention. Would I have it? Sure would!

Agreed 100%! That color on black is one of my favorites. Really I like it better than black on black. It's a lot more rarer.

Will always miss the one I traded Laser, tried hunting it down a few months back to no avail. Heard the guy that got it off Laser trashed it....

I will have to look at that when I get home and have a better computer monitor to look at.

I'm not sure how California works when it comes to salvaged titles and it doesn't make sense to me why the title would have been salvaged just because it was stolen and recovered. If someone stole my car here in Alabama and it was recovered, the title would still be good but that's here. I'm not understanding why the title was salvaged because the damage I'm seeing isn't anywhere near the salvaging point. Something else has to be involved and it must have to do with it being stolen and recovered. Maybe it was stolen and hidden for a lengthy amount of time and then the owner was paid through insurance and then the car ended up being recovered. I have no clue but if it's not difficult to get the title situation taken care of with California and someone was able to get a title in their name with no problems, it's worth an easy 5K or more, even with the little damage I see. What's going to bring the cost down is that SOMEONE has to deal with all of that when they make the purchase. The damage is minor and could be fixed in a couple of days or less.

This car looks identical to one that was being sold by a small dealership here in Miami about 5 months ago. Car had similar mileage too. Weird!

Could have been stolen from there and ended up in Cali. If that's the case and not saying it is, I would find it hard to believe that the mileage is what it states it to be. The drivers seat looks like it has a little more than 40K but the pass side looks to be new. Maybe the thieves cause the damage that it does have. For all we know, it could have went to a chop shop. No telling what this car has been through.

EXACT color combo/option combo as my car and close to mileage as well (mine had 44K)... Say all options... but its missing a moonroof and heated seats.

You'd be amazed how retarded insurance companies in California are. I looked at a CE here with only 70k+ miles and the IC salvaged it because it had been keyed. That's it. When I was shopping for cars for nearly a year, I ran across all kinds of stuff, especially Benz, that had been salvaged for the most ridiculous reasons ever. And it doesn't seem that the title can be recovered or repaired once it is branded here in Cali. LAME. I think that repair shops must rape insurance companies, so they just say f*** it and pay the thing off. The hood on that car does look to me like it has been repaired and isn't sitting quite right. I paid $4750 for mine with 60K miles, clean title, straight body, less driver seat wear, small scratches and no lasagne. I LOVE that color though and it certainly has me thinking. It's about 3 hours north of my house.

Interesting point... In Florida it's the same. Salvage tittle is only issued due to flood damage, accident damage, roll over, etc... but not due to theft.... Unless it was completely stripped & replacing missing parts was more costly than the car is worth so it was declared a total loss. That being said, this car may have a ton of parts that came off another Mark.

More trouble than they're worth at times. The two options I wish it didn't have.:(

I love my moonroof and bun warmers! Those leather seats can get mighty cold in the winter. The heated seats are the best feature of the interior in the cold months. And the moonroof is just plain cool. The last car I had with a moonroof was my '93 T-Bird. I really missed it a lot and I'm glad the '97 has one. But I'm sure I'll be cussing them when they start giving trouble. Just like everything else...:)

Cars are totaled here if the price of recovery or fix exceeds the price the car is worth. Then you can buy it back with a salvaged title even if no damage is done. There is no way to reverse a salvage title here.

First off, I wouldn't even consider this thing unless I knew for sure that i'd drive it till the wheels fell off. The title ruins everything.

That being said, I wouldn't pay more than 3,250 for it.

It'll probably fetch right around what Kaha said, but i'll go ahead and say $4136.02.

Is the 96 someones car on here? Seems like it is or I have seen it on here. I can't speak for LOD because I don't converse on there but am a member since way back. Haven't seen it on .org either cause I just don't go there period and I think I was banned anyway for idk why but I think someone on here owns that car.
