we started off with me and the mach. then we got our bullitt guy to join in, so we snapped a pic. then we were out cruising around, our little 3 car group, and a 11 v6 followed us to play. So we messed around a while, and he eventually broke off. Our original 3 car group got split up at about that point because we were racing and nobody knew where we going. About five minuets later we regroup in a movie theatre parking lot, and by some stroke of luck we find the guy with the v6 mustang. So we stop, switch numbers, and talk a while, and him and his girlfriend go and say they are going to get their 13 gt mustang. fast forward an hour, and three mustangs pull up to where we meet and we have a little gathering there, with a lot of hellraising after lol. We had some good times and i met some really cool new people. This may become a regular thing i hope

If anybody was wondering, those new 6's can haul the mail

Yea the new V6 mustangs will hang with the 05-10 GT's and 01 Bullit no problem. Can run low 13's with a few bolt ons... The 3.7 DOHC actually sounds good too with the right exhaust setup.

Those 6s had 3.73s and 3.90s, tunes, and loud (good sounding) exhaust. They would put about 1-1.5 cars on me from a light (4.10s make the car quickest from a dig), and a bus on me from a roll LOL

oh yeah, the balack stang in the back was a new 5.0. the chick who was driving was so awesome, she knew what she was talking about, could drive, and was really hot. she kicked my ass lol. thank you cobra97 if you are refering to me

Is that the warren out west? And then to the sonic further west? I remember those days only we were on bikes. :D

That's not even right! Welcome to the 21st century.

Wheew, at least they weren't Ecoboosted!:p

Scary to know that the newer generation will walk all over us but that's the cycle of the automotive life. We can sit here & name quite a few V8's from the 70's & 80's that came with 165 hp.

there is talk of a turbo 4 cyl like the old SVO mustangs.

I'd be scared of that! Light weight engine with possible similar hp to the V6. However with aftermarket exhaust that thing would sound like today's fart pipe imports.

miss the old cruise nights. there used to be alot of us in lauderdale that met sat nights at this diner on 19th and andrews, 19th was like 3/4 mile absolutely straight and we would line up in pairs of 2 like 20 of us and go every 5 sec down to the end and around the block, a$$holes ruined it for everyone then the diner went out of business.
