Good luck gr81 those 4:10 they will help a lot. 98lsc I use to say it was only 7lbs but we were not reving past 5,600 rpm's. Now we are reving it to 6,250 rpm's and it is 8lbs. It realy was good air that last day. The DA was 100

Yes the Vortech pulls much harder than the Cobra on the top end. The Cobra was 14psi but it falls off of that on the top. I thing as low as 9psi. (A Twin Screw would solve that though) But if I reved the Mark to 7,000 rpm's it would probably be 10psi. Plus Vortechs are less parasitic than a root supercharger. Plus a Mark VIII's bottom end is lighter so all things being equal it will make more power as long as it can hold together. Thanks to the converter and gears there 60ft times were almost identical.
Good luck with the run Don, 7k might be a little much for the bottom end.
Don't get less than a 3500 stall. Don't fear the gear or the stall with these motors.
