if you dont have the cd..
then you get to go sign up on their forum and beg sniperpat for help.

i'd go chunk it in the bay...and get an xcal 2.

how did you wind up w/ sniper and no cd?

i have the cd, it wont :q:q:q:qing work in my computer.
see my first sentence
why on this green:q:q:q:qing earth cant i get the god dam software disc to install in my computer?
i put the cd in, and click run, and its saying some crap needs to be downloaded, some frame.net or some :q:q:q:q i dont know. the car came with the sniper thats how i got it, i wanted to pull the software up on the screen and see how it all works.

i couldnt tell what the :q:q:q:q you were saying because the :q:q:q:q :q:q:q censor :q:q:q:qing flag really :q:q:q:q up your sentnce structure

sounds like the :q:q:q:qing error is telling you to :q:q:q:qing update your :q:q:q:qing dot:q:q:q:qing net frame:q:q:q:qingwork

lmao hence my misunderstanding your question

but

if you run your windows updates and download the latest .net framework you should be all set

i did all the updates already didnt so shyt. :q:q:q:q it i give up, the car runs fine so i'll let the tuner sit in my closet and rot, i dont have patience for computers and software and all this stupid electronics bull:q:q:q:q

like i said,.. go chunk it in the bay

and not ebay, it'll just piss someone off and screw up your feedback

lol

find an xcal2, you'll be happier in the long run, trust me

yeah your probably right

you'd just pull your hair out anyways

try this, insert cd. when the auto install starts, cancel it. Then click on start>computer. Right click on the cd/dvd drive that the cd is in and click on open. Then right click on setup or install and click properties. Then click the compatibility tab and select win xp sp3.
exit that and then 2x click on the install or setup.exe

this should still apply for 64 bit systems

(pats rayner on the back)

i'll betcha youkin spell comp00ter huh

sound advice sir, goood job

jamie will come back with a buncha :q:q:q:q flags again tho..watch, he's pretty funny once he gets wound up

thanks tommy
however he still ain't out of the woods yet. If they used sloppy code or didn't adhere to the correct API spec, he still is spinning his wheels.

and I canz speell cumputter :)

" you must " turn windows features on or off in the control panel to install or configure microsoft.NET Framework 3.5 SP1

jesus christ all mighty this is useless.

yeah there were a bunch of hoops to jump through just to get it to install on windows xp. One of the big things was to not be connected to the internet and to not download updates till after it was installed.

I have the install instructions around here somewhere if you need me to scan them I will.
