twin compressors 1.jpg

twin compressors 4.jpg

Working on a Town Car or Continental? Converting a Mark to front coils?

Ya, i remember you saying about this... Hopefully it works!

oh it will work, its fully mounted, just need to power it, and that is gonna be cake the hardest part was mounting it

Hey chicken! Add some air tanks etc. Then you could power your air tools off your car! Lolol.

naw i got the shops air compressor for that. im just happy it went as easy as it did, i didnt even pull the bumper cover had it fully mounted in about 1 hour.
come on, no one can see what im doing? unity was kinda close just look at everything in the pic dont just focus on the 2 port compressor

no i got a "original" rays switch, but i am tired of waiting for the car to raise, so im speeding it up a bit :D

Ah... after-market 12v compressor.

Let me know what you used. Two years ago I drew up plans for this but to put it all in the trunk where moisture levels are low. I could not find the CFM rating for the factory pump and wanting something rated much higher.

Cool!

well if you look to the left of the compressor you will see...........another compressor!!!!
thats right im gonna go twin compressors. the obvious one in the pic is a new one for a navi (hence the 2 port dryer) i also have another 2 port dryer for my stock comp and im gonna power it with a old school ford starter solonoid. im not doing anything fancy like a fast bag sys, just doing twins for a lil faster filling after a full drop

should be able fo find a few minutes this week, also the way im doing this if one should ever fail in 20 minutes i can go back to a single compressor

What about a kill switch? Something that will kill the second compressor so it only operates when its needed?

i thought about that too, but for now im just going as simple as i can. air comp relay will just "trigger" a ford starter solonoid and that will supply both compressors power from there. as for venting im using a old spidervalve so i dont use the stock vent sys anyway

Well thats creative, using the relay to trigger what is really a bigger really that can handle the power of both. Very nice, cant wait to see how it works out!

Might need a second alt :) lol

lol i can get a big ole cap lolol
me and ray were discussing this a long time ago, but knowing ray he kept the solonoid part to himself, "trade secrets" lolol and he mentioned that part to 96hotrodlincoln who then ended up telling me a little while after ray passed, so its not all my ideas, im just the first (that i know of) to try it and i had a few spair parts around so the project so far has been free :D

holy two compressors batman!

weird looking dryer with only two outlets...funky

very interested to see how this works out, one compressor is painfully slow in filling the bags up after a full drop.

so tonight i found some amp wire, like 8 gauge and a inline fuse and holder, so all i need to buy is a ford fender mounted starter soloniod and maybe a hour total to wire it up, and pics/vids etc hopefully some time this week i can wrap this up i wanna make sure its all good before boscobel. even if its still the same speed rising (cuz the small lines) it should cut the work load of the compressor in half
