i scratched the hell out of my front bumper and there are deep gouges in it, so i think its past the point of just being able to paint it. i would also be interested in a bra. it is a black car so i dont think that would look to bad. thanks

It can be done if you have the tools needed or a place to take it to and do it. Best if it's a heated area.

Since I have came back across every square inch, wet sanding with 2000 grit, it now looks extremely slick. It doesn't have the orange peel look anymore. The Meguiars medium cut is needed after the wet sanding is done and then after that's wiped off, some good scratch and swirl remover and a small orbital buffer brings out the final finish. I never did post the final pics of mine but it almost looks straight out of the factory or better.

thanks for the info. you did a great job with your car. thats the shiniest paint job ive ever seen. unfortunately im not so great when it comes to painting. if you look at the middle tail light in my photo gallery you will see what i mean. it is still kind of cloudy. but i think im gonna take it to a local mechanic and see what his opinion is on it. it wouldnt be the first part he has painted for me.
