Ok, I've searched high and low for a grill in ok shape, everyone of them I've come across are broken or missing in the junkyards. I'm not looking for a mint one, just something decent enough without any broken bars or connection parts broken. I really dont wanna spend hundreds of dollars on one either, I just want the lincoln to look nice and not have a gap in its teeth....Any help please :\

The 93 i stripped had a decent grille. I'll you want ill double check it on Monday.

They aren't THAT hard to find you just have to be willing to pay at least $100 for one that's not destroyed..there's like 3 of them for sale on eBay right now..cheapest is $125 free shipping..Chrome is flaking on one small spot on one of the bars..I wouldn't fret over it though if yours is broken..just touch up that spot with silver paint or a small piece of Chrome tape and it'll be presentable..I got lucky and bought the one that's on my car now for $120 and the guy threw in two nice corner lights that he had left over from one he parted out..theyre out there, you just have to search all over..check allofcraigs.com, it lists all Craigslist ads from all over the country.

thanks! will do, it's not the chrome im worried about though I have a big gap in it from god knows what! lol

Checked on it. Had one broken fin. Not missing but one end of it was cracked away. Didn't actually notice it until i started removing the grille

Tell me about it, no one knows how to remove them either so in the yards they just get busted

Yeah they are not going to remove the bumper skin for a grill. Well not in most scrap yards anyway.

The guy I bought mine from just saws-alled the bumper around the grille to get it off..easiest way to do it in the junk yard if you don't feel like dicking around in the dirt removing a bumper..

A new one is around $365 + shipping. In 2010, they were $285 + shipping. TascaParts has them.

Dude that's rediculous, $365 for a piece of plastic..id rather find a used average to good condition grille for less than half that, unless you have a show car or a pristine condition mark what's the point, I think there's better things to spend $365 on for these cars than a grille.

Unfortunately they have become so rare that yes, they are very expensive. I've seen some Gen II grills on ebay going for high prices too.

+1
I agree, I mean a mint one would be nice and all but if it's going to be $365 I'd much rather get something custom and stainless put in there for the same price!

I'll find something that I am happy with eventually! Just play the waiting game for now. :D

I bought a $50 dollar one, uncracked but with crappy chrome. Media blasted it, painted it.

See that would be perfect, that's what I've been trying to do, uncracked is the only thing I'm looking for, the chrome can be horrible for all I care, I can take care of the chrome easy, nice little project for me.

I'd pay $100 for an uncracked one that's not mint easily.

Just gotta find one, the ones on ebay are catching my eye though.

ill keep looking. like i said you cant tell it was cracked but once i saw it i stopped. i just happened to twist it a little and it exposed the crack. moved the fin and it was all dirty so it had been like that for some time.

Thanks!

Thank you for looking, I've called pretty much every junk yard in and around my area and around Florida ! I mean as long as all the connectors are intact and there aren't any holes in the grill maybe it could work.

Maybe i'll go a different route and put in a mesh custom grill, seems like a fun project for me, I have an extra broken grill laying around. I've seen some of the guys go this route but don't remember whom
