Depends on whether or not you're looking for what impresses YOU the most or what impresses the mob (the public, the forum etc) the most. Could very well be two different things. I personally would look through the galleries and that thread where people post pictures of their LS and look there for ideas. Short of putting a superbird type of wing on your car, or even a touring car wing, none of the others out there are bad looking.

It seems that if you're concerned about what the people on this forum THINK, then the more timid/understated the wing you chose, the less negative commentary you'll get. I only say this because I have never had a negative comment on any other site I visit about my rear spoiler and in fact many thought it was factory. However, some of the LVC forum mob have dubbed it "hideous". How the same part can look factory at all and yet hideous at the same time is a bit of a stretch.

I got this one which is a little smaller and lower than
Roadwaryer's.
Ya people here seem to love out plaining each other.
All black LS with black wheels(!) and McLaren grille looks like an unmarked police car to me.
I'm modding and adding this 02 Wings West kit, an LSE chrome grille and these wheels in the spring.

Oh, and Lightwurkz is putting Angel Eyes into an extra set of headlight assemblies I sent them that I got on ebay.

Here we go.
Many people on this board will find this style car
sooo attractive!

That actually looks good. Not my taste but I like it. Could do without the front end mask though.

Just having some fun here.
Maybe dark midnight blue.
The first pic looks black.
Was the closest I could find to a black police car with
black wheels on google.
Of course there's the small chrome hubcaps which we haven't seen on an LS yet...

Lol. Ok, gotcha. You know, a police edition LS would look pretty cool... Maybe someone could do a photoshop sometime...

They do look very similar.
chrome center caps on the LS.
Chrome hub caps on the Crown Vic.
Chrome around the door windows.

Ya
We could drive down the highway and part traffic like Moses parting the Red Sea...
And other cops wouldn't bug us and maybe even salute.
LOL!!

Hey, 04SCTLS, nice spoiler. And, are those angel eyes a mod that company makes to a stock set of lights? If so, sounds like a win-win scenario to me.....as long as no sealing/fogging issues develop.

F**k the police

Haaaa Haaaaa Haaaaa!!! Man is speaking my language. I am such a banner waver against the police state this country has become. I laugh evertime I see the "to protect and to serve" statement and believe that in reality the mentality is more like to "punish and to enslave" by the real motto they practice which is "to hassle and to intimidate". The first mistake would to think I'm kidding. The standard old statement of how people should not fear the government analogy fits right here, people should not fear the pigs, but they do. Mick Jagger said it right when he said every cop is a criminal.

Well this kid isn't one of 'em. I refuse to believe the "I lost my hubbies" look is anything near a look anyone would like. Instantly makes what could very well be a perfect car look like junk. Did I really say that? The black LS in the previous pics looks to be a nice car, the wheels give the appearance of being compromised, it's missing something like a cake with no icing, a woman with short hair (or none) or dare I say, a car with missing hubbies.....

Huh oh, I think I hear the black on black bandwagon mob coming......

Yes
those are stock lights they cut open and add the rings to.
After they reseal them they test for fogging and condensation.
Told me it would take about a month to do.
It's 500.00 and they guarantee their work.
That's why I sent an extra set to be done by professionals.

Functional Rear 'Spook'

Trying to be completely different, I've installed an Escort spoiler (from a ZX2) fits the trunk nicely, isn't overwhelmingly obtrusive, and I located it as far back as possible. It actually overhangs the vertical of the trunk. Because my purpose is to be functional, I'll create spill plates for the ends. I'll be doing wind tunnel tests before racing next spring. I expect a lot of good information! (See photos in my thread, 'Land Speed LS' in the HP section.)
