Wrecked my LS.. Looking for a nice one under $6000 in Texas!

How about one for $6500 in Indiana? I'd let mine go for that or maybe even $6000 actually.

Very good price. Also, looks to be in very, very good condition.

I don't buy "well maintained". The engine cover is gone, looks like the seat bottom is torn, the panels are falling off the seat backs and the rear bumper looks like it was used as, well, a bumper. It's also a base LS which looks like it's missing heated/cooled seats.

I would give the first one a look and steer clear of the second.

I would definitely pass on a V6. IMHO, for the money you're better off with the '05. He says "must sell" so you can probably get him down to ~$6K. The 2nd gen is a better car overall, plus this one has THX/NAV! You'll LOVE the cooled seats in Texas!!!!

I would definitely go with the LSE with 73k miles !!

Thanks for the advice. Anybody in Texas on LVC got one?

Not to be disrespectful of anyone's ride, but, IMHO, you want a 2nd gen ('03-'05) with the '06 being the best bet. The '05 is just a tick less desirable; maintenance speaking. The second gen also has more power for virtually the same MPG.

Was only just pulling the list of what is available in his ZIP area.
Didn't actually go through the whole list to see what's good or not. That's up to the OP.

Understand.... I just went a little further as I seem to have beaucoup time on my hands lately......

Still looking.. Insurance company paid out good though; my limit would probably go up to $6500-$7000.
Preferably LSE V8 with under 120,000 miles in Houston/Dallas TX.

although the wheels are sweet, the size of them kills it but nice LS for under the 6K you asked about.
