winter is a commin...im not messing around this winter lol. just ordered some winterforce tires, not a bad deal either. 113$ for 2 of em shipped from cali. Anyways, anyone ever use these? they are one of the cheaper costing winter tires out there but i hear they work fairly well. last year i was running yokohama avid trz all seasons and they helped, hopefully these snow tires help ALOT.

Heres is my project over the last week...what do you think? improvement?

I run winterforce on my stockers. they performed very well for me. I also put a bunch of weight in the trunk right over the rear axle too though. 300 pounds of quikrete, to be exact.

Oh, and I like the after pic better with the little more silver.

its polished aluminum frame actually, so it took a little more work then spray painting silver paint lol.

yea i figure ill throw some weight in the trunk as well. dont know if i can find 300lbs...maybe ill kill a big boy.

yeah it was probably overkill. i had 5 (iirc) 60# bags. i just bought quikrete because it was cheap, and stacked nicely.

These are studdable, so if you get those put on they should be awesome.
I went with Michelin X-Ice Xi2s instead.

Got my Dunlop SP Sport Sigs new this year so I could actually run my car in the winter... Now I got some PoS ranger to beat on...

I ran 2 60# bags of sand and was fine on bald ass tires..

No help on the winter tires. The bike looks good. Polishing those aluminum frames is a PITA.

they are studdable but in Ohio you arnt allowed to run studded tires. i wish i could, i cant tell if the ratings on them are with or without studs.

I didn't get mine studded. They are siped. worked just fine.

Cant comment on the tires. The bike does look good. I would toss a bit of gold ( paint not plate ) in the mix strategically.
