Winter Projects? Who's Doing What?

Alex your such a tease man!

I'm working on color matching my intake at the moment.

Then, hopefully some suspension work.

And probably completing my gen 1 LSE skirts and picking a gen 1 LSE trunk spoiler within the next couple of weeks.

Winter Projects

-Work Overtime
-Change fuel filters on F350
-fix that ABS/AdvanceTrac error on LS
-Boating
-Boating

Really? why?

Just time to move on.

I hate looking at all its cosmetic faults. It would take too much money to fix them all, more than I am willing to spend given the car's value.

Work on lse side skirts
Color match a couple grilles
Install manoli emblems
led conversion ( anyone know how many watts stock bulbs are?)
Color match install trunk m3 spoiler from ebay

Drive another 5000 miles or so (hit 185K today)
Oil change
Clockspring replacement
Install my 4 shocks that are collecting dust
Hopefully chrome my corner markers for a seamless and orange-less look
An alignment, or possibly need to replace a passenger side outer tie-rod end
Maybe touch up my lower grill
In reality the first 3 are probably the only ones to get done

Just started back driving the LS this week. Really haven't driven it in about the last three months. Got Eibachs that I've had for over a year that I plan to put on but I want to buy new shocks first to kill two birds with one stone. Got some R1 zinc coated rotors as well to put on. Powder coat calipers gold. New exhaust system, my mufflers are leaking bad at the wells points. Would like to refinish my HID headlight assemblies. Been getting a CEL and the car is stuttering so need to get the codes read and see what's going on.

I feel the same way...wish i could drop 5G and repaint the entire car pearl black.

But im adding a second vehicle, and slowly working on the LS.

HID projector retrofit, tweak the nitrous(may go to a 125 shot), and lastly, put in a new steering rack.

Is this the secret project that I know about...or something else?

No. Something else.:D..... Picked up part #2. Five more parts to go. Working on part #3 right now.:) Have feelers out for the remaining parts. When finish, I will be the first to have done it.

BTW Its not suicide doors.

REALLY ?!?

forty post in and I'm going to be the first to say it...

not one single other person is replacing a set of coils (and plugs) this winter?

if the current environment making it hard to spend money on firearms persist, then i will probably have to spend it on new shocks and lowering springs.

Haha, yeah... I think i'm the only one who mentioned even doing the plugs in this but mine are already done.

that is a beautiful Kimber custom, you really cant beat a good 1911.

is that a commander size? looks about 4.25" or is it an 4"? the two tone looks great!
luckily, now is a great time to buy 1911's and wheel guns because everybody is freaking out and buying anything "high capacity" and "assault weapon" related before Brobama can take them away!

yeah i ordered a few compact mags for carrying and a couple more full sized for my xdm the week before the shooting, then they get here and they sent me all .40 instead of 9mm. so i had to wait for a RMA# and then wait for them to get shipped back (even though, i told the turd licker to just charge me for the correct ones and send them out, and they could credit me back once they got the wrong ones, and they wouldn't) the shooting happened the day after i shipped them back and by the time they got them, they had sold out of all the correct ones. now nobody has them in stock anymore.

also tried to order a new stripped AR lower and was going to pay for a NFA tax stamp so that i could build a 9" SBR chambered in 300blk. but since about a couple of month before the election, the waiting period went from a month or two till now about 12 mo. now in fear of a new ban, it is next to impossible to even find anything in stock no matter what brand.

the only thing that's more American than a 1911 is...

oh wait, nothing! lol

HOLY CHIT!!!!!! I found a LSE with the rear spoiler. I am trying to contact the owner to purchase the spoiler.
