Wings West Body Kit!!!!

Don't forget to add the shipping cost--he's inflated it to make a bigger profit.

Ummmmm, no he hasn't, that's against eBay seller policy, they won't allow that anymore. That is a huge package and must be freight delivered.

everytime i did i get outbid. Can someone help me win the kit?

No one will get a cheap kit as long as everyone keeps posting a link to the auctions. This is, a lincoln site.;) ;) ;)

Thats why i didnt post it on the auction I won a couple weeks ago...i stayed hush hush for that reason alone. Now this time I was just letting you guys know just incase you guys were interested.

you happy with it?

The WW kit is nice! Takes away the grandpa car factor and makes the car look lower without installing lowering springs.

Make sure you visit the Wings West site for the instructions, if they don't come with the kit. A quick trip to Walmart, Lowes, or Home Depot and you'll be able to get the installation pieces listed in the instructions.

There's an MBC32 AMG for $24k ~60k miles, just whispering for me. With an extended warranty that thing could be alot of fun for a few years. If I go for it, my WW kit will be for sale.

BTW when I bought my WW kit the shipping was extremely high, too.

Then how come WW ships it for $90.00?

Just because it's against Ebay policy dosn't mean sellers still don't try to do it until they're called on it. Ebay's pretty lienient with things like this, after all they make their money from frequent listers like this guy.

WW either A: has an account with a freight delivery service, B: has their own shipping, or C: discounts the shipping and increase the cost in the kit.

people don't report high shipping prices, if eBay notices that shipping seems to high when you put in the box dimensions + weight, it will tell you... and it will tell you that your auction could be removed.

Ok so what keeps him from putting in fake dimensions? Ebay is so F'd up its unbeleivable. They ignore so much because they make profit off of it. Not to mention their recent rate hike.

Sorry pal, Ebay isn't perfect. It's very easy to scam someone even on something as small as inflating shipping costs or package dimensions.

All major freight carriers setup special rates for larger companies. I worked for a distrubutor where FedEx charged $5 no matter how big the package was and we shipped thousands of packages a day out of the warehouse. A regular consumer could not get those rates like a large company can get.

Sorry pal, eBay power sellers can't rip you off constantly, take a trip to the local UPS store and tell them you are sending out a body kit for a car. Or even go to your local freight carrier, I GUARANTEE it's expensive. I sent out crank arms from my bike last week and it cost me $35 in shipping, it was in a box half the size of a shoe box..... and I was shipping it from IL to VA.

You are getting off topic, the original comment I was talking about was him saying the shipping was outrageous, when in fact, its not.

Also, eBay provides a service no one else dares to offer, so hack at them all you want, MASS millions still visit their site every day, and many people make livings off of it. I don't see any power sellers or frequent eBayers complaining...

When I got my Kit a few weeks ago the box was HUGE!! It went into a 5.5 foot bed of my truck with the bed extender in use! It was probably close to 7 feet tall. Shipping is gonna be quite expensive on a box like that. My seller discounted shipping to 160 though and I thought it was fair. Like I said...he'll prolly make like 20 bucks off shippig.

that's against eBay seller policy, they won't allow that anymore.

My point was that people still do scam others. You make it sound like ebay is perfect and has no loopholes. And as for going to a UPS store??? They are franchises out to make profit.....oh gee.....profit off of shipping, there' a thought. Next time go to staples. Doesn't matter if your selling crank arms for your little tricycle or shipping an elephant, it's not hard to inflate prices on the product or shipping and get away with it, ebay is so full of scammers is unbeleivable. And yes, even power sellers. Go watch the show MSNBC did on ebay. Interviewed the president, founder, even common workers and they all admitted there is no way to catch all the fraud on there and that they under-report it so it doesn't deter people from using ebay.

Just because it's agaisnt policy doesn't mean people don't still do it genius.

You need to take a seat and chill the hell out, got a temper much? You are completely twisting words, I NEVER said theres 0 fraud on eBay. What I DID say is this, the shipping for the WW Body Kit is not a rip off, end of story.

You continue to escalate things and twist words, maybe you should take a class on reading comprehension, and then a little anger management.

1. you are arguing that eBay is "scamming" people, but in reality they are a business trying to make a profit, which would mean every organization that is not NON-PROFIT, scams people.

2. I never said people don't scam on eBay, but it's pretty obvious if someone is scamming you, walk to the flea market you'll get scammed all day. Go to Best Buy, go ANYWHERE and you are getting scammed..... you make no sense to argue with me about something I'm not even arguing...

3. Chill out, you started insulting me before I even cared about this thread. You make hacks about eBay, then who cares, don't buy/sell on eBay, save us all the time...

4. Don't your parents pay for your cars?

1. never said ebay scams people(although some would argue they do), i said they dont look out for it and if they do find it, its kept quiet so it doesnt hurt their profit.
2. i shop where i want. I wasnt talking about making honest profit, i was talking about inflating shipping costs
3. I am chilled. i never twisted your words. you said "ebay doesnt allow scams its "against" policy". Doesnt mean people dont do it. look at all the idiots with tint who break the law by having it then complain about getting caught
4. yeah , so?

To answer number 3, I never said eBay doesn't allow scamming, I said eBay doesn't allow you to put whatever shipping costs you want.
