Where is the oil filter located on my Mark VIII? I was going to search it, but it's just easier for me to ask and rely on someone's good nature and have them take the time to tell me, again. It's not important enough for me to look, but it's important enough for them to have to explain it to me.

I got ya covered bro. After hours of searching I located a secret post about the mark VIII's oil filter. I know you have searched high and low all over the car for it, but get this, they claim it's somewhere on the engine block!!!!!!!!!
I didn't find exactly where it was located though :( .

Also, I get a funny rumble strip feeling from my transmission sometimes. What's that all about?

And my Gen1 halogen headlights suck... what's that all about?

OH- and what spark plug should I use? And what type oil. I would like a special thread, dedicated to me, answering it. Thanks for your trouble....;)

With the trans., sounds like the dreaded "Kajibster" valve acting up.

As for the headlights, sounds like you're not running the copper top batteries in them, try them, they will work better and longer.

Can't help with the spark plugs, don't know where they are located so can't get any kind of number off them.

I use the extra, extra virgin olive oil, about 6qts. works a good.:D

"You are right. I'm my haste to post that smart assed comment, I forgot about the emission differences between OBD! and OBDII. You can now say you pwned me. It doesn't happen often."
(gosh, wrong, AND a typo? it's spelled 'owned', nitwit)

Okay, this is a bit late in coming but I've got to get it out:

PWNED!

It's not a typo.

Oh, and I vote for the frog.

Hey Chicken.... From Pwned "The slang term Pwn (see pronunciation note below), used primarily in the Internet gaming culture, means to soundly defeat an opponent. It is sometimes used for taunting of an in-game enemy and rubbing in victories. It can also be used, especially by non-gamers, in the context of getting "pwned" by The Man."

You've been pwned by The Man many times... LOL...

maby just a few :shifty:

I don't understand why anyone cares about internet drama, it's the freakin internet what can you really expect.

I really don't understand why people get worked up over being told to search. If someone makes a dumb post gets told to search and then never comes back because they were offended, it's a good thing. They were an idiot anyways.
