Will 275/45 20 fit?

A guy has some cheap wheels AMD tires he had on his explorer that I an interested in but the titre size worries me. They're 275/45 20. Let me know your thoughts and if you have then some pics.
 
Dang, that's a big tire - almost 30" in diameter. The 275 may be too wide as well depending on the wheel offset.

If you want them - test fit them first. I'm gonna say they're too big.
 
Not a chance. I had 20s on my 91 Town Car and they were nowhere near that size rubber. (sorry, no pics) My tires were 245-35-20. You will rub and scrape all over the place just from the diameter alone on that combo. The wheels might work (if the offset is correct) the rubber won't.
 
I have 17's on my 01 with a 235/55 R17 tire. The car can handle turns allot better now.

Looks good. :)

But the 285/35/19s are a lot smaller than the OP of 275/45/20!
 
Like Driller said the diameter of the tire is much larger at 29.8 with the width being slightly smaller at 10.7 compared to the 11.5 of the 285. Offset is the key to this wheel fitting.
