GO figure, it took me 14 years to realize that the 98 Eddie Bauer Explorer has the same/similar info center in their console.

Well, I didn't have the slightest clue. Ford ripped that off from our cars & dumped it in there Exploders! YUK!

The worst part is it is so far down, it's barely above the cupholders, a long way to just "glance" down away from your view of the road.

Try hitting buttons to gather information. I don't know about you but I'm always switching between my fuel economy and range settings when not on my compass to figure out my next fuel stop on a long trip. Try doing it in an Explorer (possibly with Firestones ) on these interstates thru PA with deer carcasses scattered all over.
