Someone had a post with some new things they had for their LS & one of them was some black exhaust tips, but I can't find the thread. I've searched multiple times now & I'm either missing it or not going back enough...

Anyone know?

BAMN!!!!!!!!!! These?

They are just magnaflow tips, powder coated black.. Just take them to a shop and have them cut your tips off and put these on.

Nope, I sent them out to get powder coated. 25 bucks each. Well I had to pay to ship but the poweder coat itself is pretty cheap. They are just magnaflow tips, 4'' tips to be exact. Got them from summit racing

I have a friend who will powder coat them for free so that should help.:D I'm guessing you just did a regular gloss black? Do you have a part number for them?

where did you send them to get powder coated?

how would they fit on a gen 1, would they have to drop the pipe down so it could fit under the bumper?

My extra set of calipers are on their way to get powder coated black as well.

I say you should do cut outs yourself like pektel. I dont like how the tips stick out on the bottom off the bumper. Doesn't fit good or look stock. Just make 2 holes and they will sit like stock.

That's what I'm doing right now.. The cats are a pita.. You got to find just the right angle (of course if your buying bolt in aftermarkets, you don't have to worry about this).. I got sick of my teacher so I'm having the local shop do it.. 200 to get the broken studs out, new pipe from the cats to the res., weld in the cats, res., mufflers, tips, and install.. I think it's fair.. We have like 5 or so shops around here and no one will even touch the LS.. Plus, he's the only one who bends exhaust pipe..

dont do that, they will scrape on everything. just cut out room in the bumper like pektel did (quietly waits for picture whoring to begin :D)
