I looked around for awhile and even ended up buying the wrong one. I think the right wiring harness has rca connections in it to utilize the stock amps. Or can i use the one without the rcas to bypass the amps?

I have a 98 lsc and am putting in a double din but don't know which wires to buy! Can someone pick the correct one of this page for me.

Stock amp sucks.
You new double din puts out more power.
I think you can bypass the stock amp.
I would upgrade the speakers and run new wire right to you new HU.

Yea i know my headunit puts out more power i just don't want the hassle of running all new wires at this point in time. If the wires were all behind the stock headunit and not at the amp it would be a lot easier. If there is a way to use my headunits power with just a normal wiring harness i wanna know how to do it!

By the time you find the bypass harness you would have it wired.

If your upgrading your speakers " I hope you are" you have the door panels off already, that is half the job.
Plus you will want better wire then the stock anyway.
3 to 4 hours tops your done.

Your not the first one to try to use the stock crap, do a search.

Just my .02

The new decks internal amp not only has more power but sounds much better. The rewire is kind of a PITA though going to the rear speakers.

That being said the adapter you posted wont work well. You need the one with the speaker outs as thats how the factory system was ran. You will more then likely suffer from a poping noise when the system turns off though.

This is the kit you want and if memory serves you wont be using one of the plugs.

did the green plug have rcas coming out of it?

Do your component speakers work fine? or do just the woofer play and not the tweeter?

ugh sorry for so many questions
