Which to buy Moog or TRW,Lower cntrl arms?

I called Advance and O'Reileys and they are both within a $1 of each other on the Moog $79 Lower control arms, but Advance offers TRW at a substantial savings and the same warranty. Warranty still means having to do the labor, anyone have any experience with either?

from what I understand, TRW is OEM for our cars. I've also been told that Moog & TRW are both trademarks of the same company.

One in the same. Odds are if you get MOOG they will have a TRW stamp on the casting, like mine did.

Just get one or the other and you will be fine, do not get OE brand.

So as far as a Moog ball joint being any better than a TRW not so? The TRW's are maybe $15 to $20 cheaper? I will call back to Advance and double check.

Advance for local pickup, RockAuto for online but a 5% discount code is needed to save on shipping otherwise Advance is usually cheaper.

With all the diferent marketing strategies going on you may need to call yor local Advance Auto Parts store to get the TRW prices and compare them to the Moog prices as the web sites are not reflecting the both selections. Same goes with the brake rotors from Bendix as they only list the cheap import ones.

look on amazon.com for uppers and lowers, they sometimes have them on there, trw's and way cheaper than any autoparts dealer.

Jaime, all I have ever found are after mkt., made in China, no TRW or Moog on Amazon. If you find one send me the link please.
