does anyone know if a P245/50/16" will fit on a stock 98 Mark 8 rim?? Some one has a pair of new,and I was wondering if they would look good on the rear with the stock size[225/60/16] on the front.

Mine had that size on it when I bought it off Jamie. Front and back.

This was when I was down there to pick it up and it had those tires on it then. It looks all jacked up because it had been jacked up and not cranked up and settled.

yes. it fits.
no, it doesn't look that weird.
but yes, the 245 50 tire is one inch shorter, and will be noticed if you look.

On a 98 you might have problems with your traction control, with shorter tires on the rear.
