I think I am going to put the CE up for sale also. I have been thinking about getting a truck now for a while and think now is the time. Dont get me wrong I really do like driving the CE everyday, but being a homeowner I need to have a truck.

So I might go from having 3 rare marks, to having only one, which is the least rare of the 3 (possibly?).

What has gotten into me lately? lol

i say keep the 96 since you seem to like that one the most, personally i think its the best looking one. sell em and get a truck. do you really need 3 anyway lol?

It seems like not a week goes by that I don't use my truck to get something for the house, so I understand where you're coming from. It just sux cause I don't really want a truck but I can't justify not having one.

I would much rather have a second car that gets better gas mileage.

I didn't get the memo that a home owner is required to have a truck. If you want a truck, cool, get one. But it bugs when people say they "need" a truck, unless they run a construction business or something. I'm kind of on the hunt for a CUCV Blazer, but it sure isn't cause I need one.

I have a house and I rent those home depot trucks for like an hour to haul stuff, it's real cheap

there is only 3 cars at my house, when i need a truck i drag a friends ass out or i borrow one of the trucks at work!

I have four cars and no trucks but my dad has a truck as does eric
so i just borrow theirs
Its a lot cheaper than owning one and I get to keep my cars
but someday I will own one

i say keep the cars and go spend 500-1000 on an old beater ford that is mechanically sound. you get the best of both worlds!

I have been teetering on the same lately myself. We were looking at new king cab Nissan Frontier 4X4's two days ago and really liked them. I am also inquiring about a 98 Jeep Cherokee 4X4 that the guy wants $1600 for. I either have to sell or go all out, and I am not convinced that going all out on a Mark VIII is worth it. I have to make that decision really soon.

it's always worth having a truck around, whether its a beater or not. They are just handy to have.

I miss my truck. I had an old '88 Ranger 2.0L 5-speed regular cab short bed that my dad gave me when he retired and bought a brand new '99 F-150. I drove that thing for years until the carb went bad. I wanted to fix it, but $500 bucks for a new carb or $250 for a rebuild kit was just out of the realm of possibility for me. So I ended up selling it. Now I have to take my trash off in my Explorer. I hate doing that because it stinks up the interior even with the windows down and I have to spend an hour cleaning it every time. So I can definitely see the need for a truck. I need another one myself.

I have to agree here ... there are people with trucks and people with trucks who have friends who use their trucks ...

I love my truck owning people ... we go on a lot of road cruises to all those good man stores ... In matter of fact I may have to call Danny and see what he's doing today ...

so your saying that Danny is the man in the relationship, right? and Rich you are?

Eh I need to get a truck too, I'm always taking my little tool box somewhere to fix something, and it would be real handy when I take a couple of Mark8 motors to Lasers house
