I got my car about six or seven months ago, an im always hearing how many problems people have with ls's (like Luttersj). I've had a couple o2 sensor an thermostat but thats nothing major. I got it with 65xxxx on it now there's 99xxxx. Is it all gona hit at once an turn into a pile or are there some of you that have had no problems. Let me know please.

Any car getting on for 100K miles is going to have to do some maintenance/replacement. I have 125K and have done/to do several things to be in tip-top shape. Those who complain either simply don't know what to expect or have treated the car in such a way as to have extra issues. (I'm trying to be polite here!)

I have experienced no real problems with my car. Any issue is something that I would consider regular maintenance. As I've stated before my perspective may be scewed. But my car has been great. Of course, you have a lot more miles than I do.

rainjacks, it might also be because youve got the 460 ci ls. they put a lot more work into those i hear.

04lincolnls - nice to see another Minnesota member!

I have 130K on the clock right now. coil on it's way out right now. I had the steering rack replaced at about 110K.

Nothing too serious. .:knocks on wood:.

To translate If you drive you car like a race car, and constantly beat on it you will have more problems.

Thanks, pretty much like any car take care of it and it will return the favor. they just get a bad rap but i would put into her whatever she needs regardless. and to answer (pagluy) I got that many miles bc i LOVE that car. You can't keep me out of there I drive as much as possible. lincoln ls's are my favorite car the one an only thing i dont like bout em is they quit making them.

Well, we are having another MN meet this spring. There are a total of 4 of us that got together last time. We'd love to have another one show up. Especially a gen2, since all of ours are first gens.

Props man...I never drive mine. '03 and just 31xxx.

hey Pek... where at in MN... might be able to make it up that way for the meet if work will let me...

The past 2 times it's always been in the Minneapolis surrounding area, since that's where everyone -except me- is from. The last meet was in Coon Rapids I believe. So I have about a 4 hour drive to make it there. Where are you at in Nebrask-ha?

Norfolk -- its about a 6 -7 hour trip to Minneapolis..but its pretty much all interstate...

I'm sure we'll start another thread once it gets closer.
