good call with the search function, cuz thats always useful. I mean not only are you looking for an answer to why your POS lincoln LS isnt running, but then you just get to look through a nice compiled list of threads that never got answered to begin with. Heaven forbid your car has something go wrong other then ignition coils or VCG's. I'm just trying to get this forum a little more on the informational and helpful side, maybe members like KD00LS or the others wouldnt say things about it going downhill then aswell. I guess if the orginal founders goal was to have this LS forum have a reputation like that, he did well for himself.

You start the threads and I'll moderate them for a week, starting Jan 10th.
You need to make concise titles and ask a direct and probing question.

I'll moderate the thread and remove all the crap. At the end of each thread, I can close them. This way you'll build up a nice database of knowledge that can be shared by all.

So the question is, will you put the time in to improve the forum, or will you turn out to be one those that likes to demand but not take action?

I'm an ass to idiots in real life as well. I don't really care about other's feelings. I suppose I could understand where you're coming from, were I not an insensitive prick.

Well that's how LvC started .... and everyone who was on the other fourm came here because they wanted to get away from the sensorship. What's funny is this is what the founders and the members who came to LvC wanted. Those of us who have been on LvC for years have no problems with LvC.
 
i love this forum and yes the search function does work i use it all the time the thing is most peaple do a search and then dont want to do their own search when the results come up. remember guys searches do key words the computer or server cant read so it will come up with all the post that have those words. and also i hate forums that have sensorships its retated and TRILKB do try twitter you will have a hart attack if you read what peaple post there.

As KK can vouch I'm far more abrasive in real life.
LVC gets the "candy coated version" that is suitable for print.

I will say things in real life that I wont "put in writing".

you folks on the internet feel lucky you dont have to deal with me face to face....as I am not afraid to "call a spade a spade" by any stretch of the imagination.

Does this forum have A-holes on it? Yes it does. Ignore them. Can't find the answer you are looking for? Use Search. Search doesn't work? try changing your search terms and give it a second try you lazy bastard. If you can't find it in the search start another thread. I've gotten solid answers to every question I have asked. And guess what, if you post a stupid question you will get flamed for it. But, there are these handy scroll bars on the side, scroll down and eventually there will most likely be a solid response. And as has been stated so often feel free to go start another forum that is more to your liking. I got on this forum becuase it is the best source of information for our love-it or hate-it car the Lincoln LS. Find me another site that is more comprehensive or more helpful when it comes to the LS.

Big thanks to the Mods and all the members for making this forum what it is. Even idiots like rePete have provided the occasional worthwhile comment.
 
With all due respect, there is an abundant overload of douchebags lately. I agree with everything else. Every forum will have it's trolls, but it seems that recently the numbers have been growing at an incredible rate.

No matter though. I still come here multiple times a day.

I agree that there is an abundant overload of douchebags. I don't think that contradicts anything I stated in my post. Maybe you were aiming your comment more at someone else. I think I could count on two hands the number of truly valuable members on this forum. Unfortunately, I don't know that I'd make that list.
