Ok, so one of my Dad's buddy's knows some guy that has a 96 mark viii (not sure if its an LSC or not) but he yanked the motor and trans and the rest of the car hes going to junk, now before he junks it he's going to let me take whatever parts I want off of it, should I grab anything special??? computer?? anything 96 only thats rare or good to grab??? Anyone need anything?? not sure on the color combo
 
check the headlights, if hid's or not grab them.

i'm not a first gen guy but i know those headlights are gold sometimes:)
 
oh yea def, its an LSC I'm grabbin everything, maybe i can talk the guy into letting me have the car....if black interior, and nice...I'd make my 94 black inside and put the LSC bumpers and HIDs in....chances are its not tho....but if it is I'll be a super happy man!!!
 
If its not an LSC nothing, unless you like the dbl den dash. Take the wheels cat and diff if you can. You can cash the cats and wheels in for $ and use it to rebuild the rear end with 3:73/1.
 
Well, I hear the IMRC actuators are unique to the 96, so grab them.

And... Grab that black box with fins on it!!! (VRCM or VCLM or whatever it's called - that's a unique part also)
 
yeah find out what wheels it has, I know XLRVIII is looking for some painted 10 spoke directionals.

I have an extra set of those F/S

Even if it’s a base take the deck lid, headlights and maybe fenders if there good, couldn’t hurt to have some extras laying around in case your girlfriend puts the mark into a wall.:D

yes get spare parts you never know what the other drivers will do to your car:shifty:
Hell, in that case, you might as well get all body parts you can unbolt. Doors, bumpers, fenders, hood, etc.
 
i have a set of nice painted 10 spokes.....i'd like to trade for chrome 10 spokes.....as for the old lady thing.....she doesn't drive my car!!!
 
Def grab the IMRCs. If you plan on a gear swap take the dif also so you can get the gears done and just swap it.

sucks your so far away, and or i dont have a spare set of wheels to put on my car.

I personally like the double din much more than the single din. It gives you much more choices for what you want to use and the DDin radio's are so much better in my opinion as I have grown to hate single dins.

Plus I have 2 stock DD'd for sale now. One Tape/CD changer and a CD DD. I will see if they sell at E-town swap meet or not?
 
Hey Whats Up I Have A 2000 Lincoln Ls V8 Im Having Problems With It Every Time That I Get To A Stop Light The Car Shuts Down .... It Turns On Right Back Up ..i Hade The Fuel Pump Replace, And Check The Trasmision, New Pcm Replace Evrything Done At A Dealer .. So Does Anyone Have Any Cluess? Need Help
 
I just like it better, but I’m not much of a sound guy. So I prefer the older ones. Which is good for me because there will be lots to choose from.
 
Look at the fake wood grain cover over the cup holder & ash tray. If they're any good, grab them. Mine are cracked so I need a set.
 
Yea, I'll grab them, prob everything like that, i'll grab...everything wood, hell I'll grab the whole console....like I said everything I can get my grubby hands on is prob gonna come with me :) i hope its an LSC!!!! I want the trunk badge :)
